Lighting & Electrical Design

Once the space design is resolved we turn our attention to the lighting and electrical design.

Having this capability in-house ensures not only seamless integration into the main design ethos but also reduces the potential for error and the subsequent requirement for expensive site remedial work.

Bathroom Design

As well as producing detailed bathroom plans we also produce the sanitary ware schedule in-house.

This means clients are not tied into any one supplier enabling MCD LTD to obtain competitive quotes on your behalf.

We also produce full construction drawings giving all the information required by the construction team such as plumbing points, construction detailing and tile layouts.

Kitchen Design

We have been designing kitchens since the mid 1980’s and in that time, have worked with all types of kitchen suppliers from local manufacturers to multinational specialists.

As such we are able to tailor the type of product to fit with both the client’s tastes and the project budget.

Project Management

Effective project management is essential if a project is to be delivered on time and on budget – our experience in managing fitting out projects gives us the edge in achieving these goals for our clients.

Architectural Elements

MCD Ltd can either specify standard products or design from scratch all internal architectural details such as: stairs, fires, room dividers, doors, skirting boards and architraves.

As well as providing the various bespoke manufacturers with construction drawings we also produce for the site construction phase detailed integration plans.

Hard Finishes

The selection and specification of all hard decorative surfaces such as tiles, timber flooring, stone flooring, panelling and worktops

Bespoke Furniture & Joinery

Due to our hands on experience in this area we are able to design and produce with technical authority, detailed construction plans for any item of bespoke furniture or joinery.

Exterior Detailing

Our involvement in the specification of the exterior elements and materials ensures the design values of the interior scheme are extended through to the exterior areas.

Entrance doors, gate systems, paving, lighting, balustrades and handrails are all areas we are able to give guidance on.
